Chateau de Sillé le Guillaume
L'existence du chateau de Sille est mentionne pour la premiere fois en 1070. Situe au confins du Maine, il aide a la defense contre les Bretons et les Normands. Les Francais et les Anglais le prennent et le reprennent pendant la guerre de Cent Ans et il est en partie ruine.
Le sire de Beauvau, baron de Sille en 1463, decide de la construction d'un fort et d'un puissant donjon, mais la tactique guerriere evoluant, le donjon ne servira jamais.... De nouvelle ailes construites aux XVI et XVII siecle lui donnerent un aspect plus residentiel et plus pacifique.

Le chateau fort gothique de Niedzica beneficie d’une situation pittoresque. Sa forme actuelle provient de l’epoque de sa transformation dans le style Renaissance. Du chateau superieur s’etend une vue magnifique sur les Pienines, le lac artificiel de Czorsztyn et son barrage, ainsi que sur les ruines du chateau de Czorsztyn du XIVe siecle. Le chateau de Niedzica abrite un musee contenant des collections liees a l’histoire de la region naturelle du Spisz et du chateau, mais egalement une exposition archeologique et historique.
